Restaurant Manager (Maternity cover) 22-24K

We are currently recruiting for a Restaurant Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our highly successful team. 

Based in beautiful Norfolk, you will be required to contribute to the hotels success. You should have a warm, personable nature, can do attitude and eye for details.

As Congham Hall is one of only a handful of hotels in the UK to hold the coveted AA Three Red Star status, we will expect you to maintain a motivated restaurant team, who deliver great service by making each guest feel special.  You will also need to work closely with other departments; Kitchen, Reception, Spa, Housekeeping and Garden/Maintenance.

 

You will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations.   As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed. You must be motivated for a challenging role which will give you a great deal of satisfaction and reward. The ability to prioritise your workload is a must.  An individual with a pro-active stance towards problem solving, who displays a positive attitude and calmness under pressure is exactly what we are looking for.

 

You should have knowledge of using an Epos system and be able to order stock and plan rotas in accordance with the business levels and budget. You will be responsible for ensuring all staff have the necessary training they need in order to succeed.

 

This job will include working evenings and weekends, which as you would expect in our industry will include bank holidays and Christmas etc.

 

We hope that the successful candidate will be available for an immediate start in order to spend some time with our Restaurant Manager before her maternity leaves begins late summer.  We envisage the Maternity Cover to last 6 months at this stage (or until the end of April/May).
